Melissa Rueschhoff, Esq.

Melissa Rueschhoff has joined Parlatore Law Group as a Partner in our Honolulu, HI office. She is an in-demand litigation and criminal law attorney, practicing in the areas of Civil Litigation, including special victims and human trafficking, Internal Investigations, Strategic Legal Communications, and Government/Political Law. She has been practicing law for over two decades in nine jurisdictions and is thrilled to bring her experience to Parlatore Law Group.

Ms. Rueschhoff has spent much of her career working on behalf of special victims. As a Civil Litigator, she is passionate about not only stopping the sex trafficking of adults and children alike, but also holding businesses accountable that are apathetically catering to these networks. Prior to joining Parlatore Law Group, Ms. Rueschhoff’s legal career had been focused on Criminal Prosecution in Special Victim’s Units and, most recently, in combating child sex trafficking at home and abroad. In Hawaii, she was an Analyst / Special Prosecutor for the Hawaii Internet Crimes Against Children Unit in the Hawaii Attorney General’s Office and a Legislative Attorney for the Judiciary Chair in the Hawaii State Legislature. 

She is admitted to practice in Alabama, Arizona, Hawaii, and Texas state courts, as well as the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Federal District Courts in Texas and The Court of Federal Claims.

Kieran McDowell, Esq.

Kieran McDowell has joined the firm as a Partner in our Philadelphia, PA office. Kieran is an accomplished administrative law attorney, handling issues such as Performance Evaluation Appeals, Board for Correction of Naval Records Upgrades, Veterans Law Assistance, Disability Evaluation Services, Financial Support and Military Protective Order Assistance and review.

Ms. McDowell joins Parlatore Law Group with a passion for advocating on behalf of servicemembers and veterans facing complex administrative roadblocks. She previously worked with a Marine Wounded Warrior Battalion where she successfully secured benefits for servicemembers who had been fighting, in some instances, for years. From this experience and subsequent appellate successes, Ms. McDowell draws her passion to provide the best assistance to servicemembers and veterans facing similar hurdles.

Jay Klimes, Esq.

Jay Klimes has joined the firm as counsel in our Omaha, Nebraska location. Jay is an accomplished attorney practicing in the fields of entrepreneurship, small business development, and intellectual property. He assists physician and healthcare professionals looking to start medical practices with patent and trademark licensure, in addition to negotiating contract review, and creating and implementing strategies for growth.
